I am curious on how some fish species are managed on smaller lakes and ponds ranging from 1-15 acres.

I've been hearing that crappie will over populate but there is a way around that by adding more largemouth bass between 10-12 inches to eat the smaller crappies. This makes some sense because that may be the reason that in most public lakes the largemouth has to be greater than 12 inches to keep.

I haven't found much at all about White Bass.
